Membership Renewal

MdATAI is currently accepting membership renewals and applications for 2010. Beginning this year, some membership benefits and fees have changed. The Accident Reconstruction Journal (published six times per year) has been introduced as the publication provided to all members. To accommodate the increased cost of publishing and shipping the Journal, member dues are $55.00. Members will, however, be offered the option of joining MdATAI without having to subscribe to the Journal (such as those who may receive it elsewhere). If they choose not to receive the Journal, annual member dues will be $40.00. Due to the increased cost of mailing, membership dues for members outside the U.S. who wish to receive the Journal will be $65.00.

Please note that renewals submitted after March 31 are subject to a $10.00 late fee.

2010 Conference

The annual combined conference for 2010 will be hosted by MdATAI. Organizations participating in the conference include NAPARS, NATARI, NJAAR and NYSTARS. Planning is well underway and as events are finalized, information will be posted here.

The 2010 conference will be held October 6-8, 2010, in Ocean City, MD at the Grand Hotel, located on the boardwalk at 21st Street (same venue as the 2009 NAPARS hosted conference). Crash testing exercises are planned to include trailer underride collisions. Comments and suggestions related to what members would like to see and experience are welcome.

We are seeking vendors and sponsors. Vendor tables (for the duration of the conference) are available for $150.00. Vendors will also have the opportunity to include sales literature in the conference material provided to all attendees.

We also welcome individuals or companies to sponsor a portion of the conference, such as break or meal. Sponsors will receive recognition at the conference and in conference materials and public announcements.

Training

MdATAI is currently seeking suggestions for possible training classes to be hosted/sponsored by the organization. Members can voice their input through the members-only forum section of the website. The input of non-members who would like to see something presented in the region is welcome by sending their ideas to MdATAI via email.
